The finalists of the Mipim Awards have been revealed. Once again, Belgium is particularly well represented, with no less than four projects selected.
 
The ambitious redevelopment of a central part of historic Brussels – the Ilôt Sacré designed by DDS+ – has been selected as a finalist, in the Best Residential Development category. Another project by DDS+, Rive Gauche Charleroi, will be competing in the Best Shopping Centre category.
 
Antwerp Port House, by Zaha Hadid Architects, is named in the Best Refurbished Building category, while the AZ Zeno hospital in Knokke-Heist, designed by Aaprog, Boeckx and B2Ai, in the Best Healthcare development category.
